BLOTTO is coming to the guild. Each month a block pattern will be made available in this blog and in the newsletter. For each participant who make a block and submits it to the drawing has a chance to win all the blocks submitted. There is a three chance limit... you can make more blocks for the lottery if you choose but you can only have three chances to win. Our goal is to have the winner be able to assemble and entire quilt from the blocks that they win.... so come gals let make some blocks.
( The block pattern for this month will be posted in a separate blog post)

DONATION BLOCK CHALLENGE
OUR GOAL is to make quilts for SAFE HOUSE, Miracle quilts and our favorite guild charities .... Finished quilts are due by OCTOBER. The sample quilts shown today had a 3 across by 4 blocks down setting with (2inch) sashing. Blocks were 12 inch finished SIZE: approximately 40 inches width x 54 inches length ( before borders are applied.)
We had a drawing for patterns at tonight's guild meeting We are suppose to get together with the other guild members who drew the same pattern and make decisions about making the quilt blocks... color / themes of the fabric. Random draw helps sponsor new quilting buddies.
