Quilts At The Planetarium

ffofquilts10_mediumThe quilt show this year at Longway Planetarium in Flint, Michigan will be September 8-September 10, 2011. The show is part of the Flint Festival of Quilts, an annual Flint quilt exhibit centered around the Michigan Quilt Artists Invitational held at the Greater Flint Arts Council.

As in past years,  Longway Planetarium requirements stipulate that the quilt must have stars, planets or outer space in the quilting, blocks or fabrics.

Floral Star of Bethlehem, made by Evening Star quilter Caron Mosey of Flushing, was the Viewer's Choice quilt for the 2010 show.
