We will have a sign-up sheet in
advance of the sewing session so you can say whether you want to cut, iron or
sew for the projects. Once again kits
will be made available by Anne W ... all we have to do is create the quilt top. Quilts were donated to Quilts for Kids.

Groups of 5 people …
okay to have 4 … depending on how many have signed up. This is voluntary only those that want to play the game need enter. You will need some kind of snips/ scissors to keep the game moving along.
When instructed ….
Snip it, rip it, drop it, pass it on.
- 1 yard becomes half yard, you keep a half yard but then pass on the other half.
- Fabric for next rip is longest at the top (width of fabric) …
- Half yard becomes fat quarter
- Fat quarter becomes … fat 1/8th
- Fat 1/8th becomes 1/16th …. A very small piece
Currently, other months will be guild activities … such as
our annual guild auction, four corners, make and take, quilt bingo, Tea Party,
etc. We are always looking for new ideas
/ activities for the guild to do. The
board is hoping to be able to find other speakers to add to our calendar, but
it will depend on our finances. If you
have any suggestions please let the board know.
Reminder ... Please turn off phones, tablets any noise
producing devises when the lecture and business meeting is being
conducted. If you have to take the call then please go into the hall.
